This page quotes the country lists from 4 casinos, as their terms print them, and shows how to read one before you register.
Who sets the restricted countries
The casino does, in its own terms. The Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) licenses, supervises and enforces for the online gaming sector under the National Ordinance on Games of Chance, in force since 24 December 2024. Our explainer, Curacao gambling licence explained, covers what that licensing involves.
In practice, Betmac and TrustStake show how this works. Both are run by the same company, Sefiarray B.V., company registration 155219. The CGA licence list carries a line for that company with the status Assessment in progress (list updated 9 October 2026). The extracts of the two country lists that we hold are identical. The CGA register explained shows how to look up a company line like this one.
Restricted countries casino by casino
Our terms team read each casino's own country list and checked every name on this page against it. The table gives the number of names printed in the terms and a few of them, quoted as the terms write them.
| Casino | Countries listed | A few of them, in their own words |
|---|---|---|
| Betmac | 10 or more | American Samoa (AS), Australia (AU), Austria (AT), Belarus (BY), Belgium (BE) |
| TrustStake | 10 or more | American Samoa (AS), Australia (AU), Austria (AT), Belarus (BY), Belgium (BE) |
HadesBet and MyStake
The country lists of HadesBet and MyStake are quoted here, apart from the table above.
How to read a casino's country list
In all 4 casinos, the list we quote sits in the main terms and conditions page. Look for the sentence that introduces it, then work through these points.
- What is barred. The wording is not the same everywhere. One set of terms says players from the listed countries are "not allowed to open a player account and/or place any real money bets on our casino". Another says they are "not allowed to deposit and play real money games".
- How far the list runs. A list can be long, so a name can sit well down the page. Read to the last entry.
- Territories. Some lists name territories as well as countries. One entry reads "China and its territories: China (CN)", and another list says "their territories" in its opening sentence.
- Categories instead of names. One list ends with "OFAC sanctioned countries" rather than naming each country. A category like that has to be looked up elsewhere.
- The home of the licence. Betmac's company is registered in Curacao, and its list names Curacao (CW). Where a licence was issued says little about who the casino lets register.
The same terms page at Betmac and TrustStake also sets the withdrawal limits and the account rules, so one careful read of it covers all of them. A casino can change its terms, and our copy of the list is only as current as the date this page was last updated.
Questions
Does the Curacao Gaming Authority publish a list of restricted countries?
Not in the licence list we read. Each row gives the licence number, licensee, company type, company registration number, issue date, expiry date and status. Country lists are written by each casino in its own terms.
What happens if I play from a restricted country?
Betmac's terms also let it decline a withdrawal request when verification of identity, age and location is not complete. Read the casino's terms for anything further before you register.
If you think we are wrong
When a casino changes its country list, or we have got a name here wrong, our team goes back to the casino's own terms page or the register and corrects this page. Corrections can be sent to info@curacaocasinosuk.co.uk. How to check a Curacao casino licence shows how we check.
