This policy explains what data Curacao Casinos UK records about visitors, why, for how long and what you can do about it.
1. Data controller

2. Our principles
We collect as little as the site needs in order to run, and we keep it for as short a time as we can. The data section below lists what is recorded and the retention section says how long it stays.

3. What data we collect and on what basis
We do not ask visitors for personal data.
What is collected automatically is the server log. For each request, the web server writes one line in nginx's default combined format: the visitor's IP address, the date and time, the requested page, the response status and size, the referring page and the browser's user agent string.
The purpose is keeping the site running and secure, which means catching errors and abuse. The logs are not used for analytics or advertising. The basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure site.
The site runs no analytics, sets no cookies of its own and uses no browser storage. Its short inline script only works the page, for example the phone menu, makes no requests and stores nothing. Fonts are served from the site's own server, not from Google Fonts. The cookie policy has the detail.
4. Third parties and external links
We have recorded no requests from these pages to outside servers, so no outside company receives visitor data through them.
The one service provider involved is our host. The site is served from a Hostinger server, and the access logs described above are written there. They are shared with no one. If a legal request for them ever arrived, we would answer only what the law requires.
The casino sites we link to are separate organisations with their own privacy policies. Once you follow a link, that casino's policy applies to what it collects, so read it before you give an operator any data. Whether any link pays this site is covered in the affiliate disclosure.
5. Transfers outside the UK
The site's server is in Germany, which is outside the UK, so each request and the log line it creates are handled there. The location comes from the hosting order and a registry lookup.
6. Retention and data security
Server logs are rotated daily and kept for 14 rotations, then deleted, so a log line lasts about 14 days.
No other visitor data is held: there is no analytics record to keep and nothing placed in your browser.
We describe no security measure beyond the limits above: few kinds of data, a short life and one host.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask an organisation what personal data it holds about you and for a copy of it. You can ask for wrong data to be corrected and for data to be erased. You can ask for its use to be restricted, object to its use, and in some cases receive your data in a form you can move elsewhere.
These rights reach the log lines we hold. A request is only useful while the log line still exists, and the retention section says how long that is.

8. Right to complain
The privacy regulator for the UK is the Information Commission’s Office (ICO). Its guidance says: “In most cases, we recommend that you raise your concern with the organisation first and give them a chance to put things right.” It then adds: “If you’re unhappy with the organisation’s response, you can then complain to the ICO.”

9. Changes to this policy
Changes are posted on this page, and the “Last updated” line at the top shows the date of the latest version. We hold no contact details for visitors, so we cannot tell anyone individually. Check this page for the current version.
